- The knowledge we gain here is quite good and easier due to efforts of faculty and lecturers. Though every college has its own bad and good faculty overall this college is good and i kinda am enjoying it.
- The fests are held next level here love the fests most in our college. In some fest Outsiders are also allowed in and maybe if someone are interested in it they can visit during fest.
Dislikes
- Classes and exams are of tight schedule like 1 week test, 1 week exam it goes on repeat. Actually i dont dislike it but the schedule are quite fast.
- The environment here is hot so thats the only disadvantage like in summer the heat gets up to 30°
Remarks :
I had done my diploma after my 10th in mechatronics so after finishing my diploma i was a lateral entry meaning i was admissioned in the 2nd year while doing B.tech for admission. I reached out to them from their website and counsulted some of the teachers there it was a smooth process. And after paying the fees i was immediately admissioned.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had to choose this course because as i had done my diploma in mechatronics that is combination of mechanical, electronics, electrical and computer science i could have chosen other courses but i found that B.TECH in EEE is more suitable for me as i have the basic foundation for that course . Teaching are top class like i noticed something while sutdying there its like they planned or some but here it goes its like while attending lectures what the lecturer talks about will be related with other subjects too and the same goes for every other subject . For exams the minimum pass marks is 35/100 overall and 5 test takes place QUIZ1, QUIZ2, SESSIONAL1, SESSIONAL2, SEMESTER EXAM QUIZ CONSISTING OF 5 MARKS SESSIONAL OF 25 MARKS SEMESTER OF 50 MARKS THERE IS ATTENDENCE MARKS OF 5 ASSIGNMENT MARKS OF 5 AND THE DIFFICULTY ARE SOME SEM HAVE DIFFICULT SUBJECTS AND SOME SEM HAVE A BIT EASIER SUBJECTS THE DIFFICULTY VARIES BUT THE AVERAGE DIFFICULTY IS OUT OF 10 IT IS 8.
Internships Opportunities :
There are 3 internship opportunities through out the course. For me my 1 st intership was in 2nd year Where i did Intern at NHPC TEESTA V as a meter and maintenance team. For my 2nd intership i did it at SLDC(STATE LOAD DISPATCH CENTRE) where i learned how the state dispatch the load in the state and necessary maintenance, supervision of the flow of electricity in the state. For my 3rd internship it will take place in last sem.
Placement Experience :
I have opted No for placement the placement chances are much higher here the for placement the company are available in regular basis but the cgpa, gpa should be quite good. Like a min. Of 6 Higher the cgpa more offers you ll get.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For me: its like yearly i have to pay approximately 1 lakh & 60 thousand 1sem=80,000 ,in a year there will be 2 sem. That too with my scholarship qouta of the government if i didn't have qouta i would need to pay 1.6 lakh per sem and yearly it ll be 3.2 lakh. And extra 60k- 80k for admission in hostel, but staying outside(rent) there will be same expenses as the rooms for rent near college is quite high around 10k for a nice room and prices shoots up to 25k . Other classmates that doesn't have qouta need to pay 3.2 lakh per year. 1.6 lakh per sem. And as for scholarship there are many scholarships available NSP,GOV SCHOLARSHIP, AND MANY MORE But most the scholarship are available for those whose academic achievement like the recent sem gpa are required.
Campus Life :
The campus is big enough . Many fest takes place kaalrav, tech adrista, sports fests and many more. Books and journal in library is huge. There are student council, and deparmental unions like for our its SEED(SOCIETY OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC DEPARTMENT) , and there are many more.
Hostel Facilities :
The locality is majhitar and quite normal place but some areas are quite good you have everything available thater there are 2 deparmental stores and many hotel, restaurants, cafe and many more. Hostel have many rooms varying with prices like AC rooms a bit expensive, normal fan rooms, single room, double room and cleaning servies, 24/7 electricity, high speed wifi, and there are dominos, cafes, gyms, swimming pools, football ground, indoor basketball court, tennis court, many more sports facilities

Placements and job opportunities are given to students after their completion of internship some may get the opportunity in between their internship,like recently our department seniors were gone for their internship and they are receiving amount of stipend in their internship at around 7000 rupees which was good thing for them

No guarantees . There is no placement guarantee in our college if you pass you pass their is no guarantee that you'll get a job after the college i have seen my seniors driving taxi after college and I'm afraid

Although the college claims 100 percent placements. I have seen my seniors running and applying for job interviews here and there. However i feel only 50- 60 percent gets placed by the college campus interview. But also there are many opportunities outside the college so one doesn't have to worry for placements.

Yes we do have internship program. If you do diploma you will get one OJT that can vary upon the field of your interest such such you want to move to another location or not And if you are not diploma then you get one OJT plus last 9 months of internship then placement.

job and placements are on average side and if we look at roi of the college then i would say it cannot your first priority but the situations are changing and placement are getting better over the years.

So the University doesn't have any sort of Placement Cell however the student body has assured that they will make it work and resume it soon. But as of now not having Placement benefit is a disadvantage. However, if you're good enough to crack NET exams and some other entrances than even some of the private universities can take us into consideration. I'm planning to crack NET and continue with PhD if I get a chance otherwise I'll have to crack good amount of entrances.
