- The sports complex called Marena is the main good thing about college.
- The hostel life is great if we make good friends here it will a joyful period of time in our lives.
Dislikes
- The pressurizing way of teaching engineering
- frequent exams feels like a burden due to which sleep cycle is always compromised
Remarks :
I choose this college for cultural exposure and self dependency where I wanted to experience a completely different environment away from the urban life and peace. We have to appear for a test for the admission here and there is counselling session with teachers before taking admission. The exam difficulty level is medium and is just hard to get in CSE branch else everything is done and gifted. the name of the exam is SMET. you can also join by JEE and other influential exams. The cut-offs vary branch to branch. The good thing about this college is it makes the students work harder than usual and keep pushing students in various aspects. The campus is small the population is little and wont feel mess around here. The odds here is sometimes this can feel boring. another bad thing is rules are too silly and strict here and allot of formality which is sometimes a burden.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Overall it is not that difficult nor that easy. Regular practice can easily be a great aspect here and college library will handle the rest. My course has a specialisation in artificial intelligence and machine learning which is my core interest hence I choose the course here. The faculty are well qualified but sometimes its hard to coop up with them. Phd holders are the main faculty here and some are friendly and the rest are average. Exams are held frequent and sometimes feels like a burden on heads. the difficulty level depends on the type of subject and the exam. It mainly depends on the student's hardwork.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't been to any internship yet and still finding by myself. here we do a self project where each and every student is required to do a project where I am working on automated audio captioning which is a academic project to gain a hands on experience with the industrial work culture.
Placement Experience :
The student traffic is less so placements are made averagely and varies each year depending on the quality of the batch. There are few companies like Accenture ,TCS, COGNISANT ,DELLOITE ,ETC. The average package is 8-10 lpa depending on the companies offering. My plans if am not securing a placement here is moving abroad or just trying off campus.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The registration fees was 500 and after selection we pay 50000 as a registration fees which is deducted from our initial college fee. Then the yearly tuition fees is 320000 and including hostel and utility fees it turns to be approximately 4.5 lakhs per year. Scholarship can save some amount of your fees if you grabbed.
Campus Life :
College life is hard here as its a remote location and depends on the type of person whether he is a over active socialized person or a extrovert. There are many good fests here the main fest is Kalrav which is held in the month of march and is a good experience. the college has a own sports fest here and the sports facility is good here and students can have a good time in extra curricular activities. all the clubs are ran by students and the club cultures are very fine and vast. there are also educational clubs here where our seniors teach us about different aspects of industry required in future.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are good, double occupancy and single we get both options and individual washroom for each room which is a very good thing. The mess food is average and we get a option to take mess or eat other ways and students have freedom to opt in or out of mess. the registration process is simple and efficient and is very affordable.

Placements and job opportunities are given to students after their completion of internship some may get the opportunity in between their internship,like recently our department seniors were gone for their internship and they are receiving amount of stipend in their internship at around 7000 rupees which was good thing for them

No guarantees . There is no placement guarantee in our college if you pass you pass their is no guarantee that you'll get a job after the college i have seen my seniors driving taxi after college and I'm afraid

Although the college claims 100 percent placements. I have seen my seniors running and applying for job interviews here and there. However i feel only 50- 60 percent gets placed by the college campus interview. But also there are many opportunities outside the college so one doesn't have to worry for placements.

Yes we do have internship program. If you do diploma you will get one OJT that can vary upon the field of your interest such such you want to move to another location or not And if you are not diploma then you get one OJT plus last 9 months of internship then placement.

So the University doesn't have any sort of Placement Cell however the student body has assured that they will make it work and resume it soon. But as of now not having Placement benefit is a disadvantage. However, if you're good enough to crack NET exams and some other entrances than even some of the private universities can take us into consideration. I'm planning to crack NET and continue with PhD if I get a chance otherwise I'll have to crack good amount of entrances.
