- I like faculty, staff members teachers are very good , they encourage the students to do big in life.
- And the yearly, conducted Athletic Meet I like the most.
Dislikes
- Less courage in sports, not provide facility for sports.
- Social life was not so good. Students take interest but college not do something for students.
Remarks :
I got scholarship here under EWS, and this is the best college in our area for pharmacy, their is no other college for pharmacy. And all the staff members are also very well in nature . Friendly behaviour.
Course Curriculum Overview :
There are semester wise exams. But in between semester they conduct 2 sessional exams (MST) of 30-30 marks for revision and for assessment for final exams. That means in whole year there will be 4 times MST's and finals.
Internships Opportunities :
Not yet , because our internship will be conducted in our last year like in 4th year, and now I am in 2nd year so I not attend any internship yet, But internships are held by college for every student's who are eligible for that.
Placement Experience :
Placements , See I am a Pharmacy student and after my degree , I want to join my family buisness.. But yaa placements are come here for students. But honestly, students do more efforts for getting placement.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For SC Students 20-25000 per year, For general Students 80-85000 per year, Scholarships are coming during time of degree at university level or from other communities. For EWS students, their will be conducted a online counselling on behalf of students+2 marks. And first two EWS students get 100% scholarship of tution fees , that means their fees will be 16-18,000 per year.
Campus Life :
Honestly, social life is not so good here. There is no so much facility for sports, for develop social life , narrow minded people are much here. Students came here only and only for degree . They got the degree they are happy . But this is not good environment for Students who really wanna to grow in social life , to know about the surrounding, to meet the new students.
Hostel Facilities :
Here, Hostel facility is not provided by college, here are PG's . Outside the college there are PG's , Rooms are available and students live their during their studies. Rooms are good but they face problem in food .

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
