- The faculty here is amazing and are very helpful when it comes to curriculum and overall development
- The campus life is great, as you can join various committees according to your choice which is gonna enhance your skills
Dislikes
- The lifts could had been better, as they are a bit slow and could accommodate less people at a time
- The canteen could have better food option for people who eat non vegetarian food
Remarks :
The placement rate is very high in Thadomal Shahani engineering college. This is one of the top colleges in Mumbai, which has a greasy reputation when it comes to placement. Its admission is given based on merit. And based on different quotas. Sindhi quota plays a major role here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum here is great, the only problem is the change of curriculum every 6 months but that’s according to the Mumbai university and college can’t change that itself. The faculty is very helpful and cheerful and helps students in every way possible.
Internships Opportunities :
Berkleys offer great internship opportunities to students who are eligible based on the merit and are ready to learn and experience new things. I haven’t option for any internships right now for myself as I am thinking of studying abroad
Placement Experience :
The placement here is great and most of the top companies hire from Thadomal Shahani engineering college. Companies hire students based on their skills and experience along the way. The highest package offered here is around 30lakhs and you’ll easily be able to grab an average package of 7lakhs in case of Computer or Aids department.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fees I pay is around 30000. This is because I got enrolled through TFWS scheme which makes my fees a lot less comparable to other students. There is a special quota for women, and even they pay around 30000 as compared to the normal fees of 179000
Campus Life :
The infrastructure isn’t that great as it consists of a single building and an another building along the side of the building. The library is completely airconditioned and they have all the books necessary for our studies
Hostel Facilities :
I haven’t opted for hostel. Though I could tell you to rent out a flat along with your batchmates or get a Pg for yourself near by. That would really help you. you’ll get the best food in the canteen and don’t have to worry about the food.

It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate
SNDT,MA Psychology
Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.

Placement are very good there are multiple job opportunities provided in a college multiple companies also visit for the placement in second third year students also internship provided and multiple students get PPO from that internship so but in 2024 the internship and placement both ratio is little low or the highest placement gone till now is only 35 lakh per annum
