Remarks :

The fact that, it is one of the best institute in India when it comes to International Law made me choose this universe. The professors of this department have a huge name in the academic market. Besides all these, if anyone wish to hone their research skills, this institute would be the best for them. To get into this university, I gave an entrance exam which is based on the basic fundamentals of International Law

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course structure is mainly research based. I remember, the first lecture i attended in this university was that of Jurisprudence and I was in complete awe the way Prof. was teaching. That's how lectures in masters should be. One of the reasons why one should consider SAU as a priority when it comes to International Law is because of it's faculty. The faculties here are an institution in themselves. I have been a student at DU as well, however when compared academically, SAU offers a better faculty. The professors share readings of specific topics a week before discussion of that topic in the class, which I find very interesting. The methodology has never been one way, it has always been a learning through discussions. The faculties are just too good and cooperative. We have 2 exams per semester - mid semester and end semester. In the end semester we also have to submit term papers for 5 subject comprising 20 marks each.

Internships Opportunities :

I haven't opted for any internships as of now, as this is my first semester. However, students from SAU frequently get internships at Asian African Legal Consultant Organisation (AALCO), Centre for trade and investment law (CTIL) and other similar think tanks.

Placement Experience :

Since, SAU is a research based institute, it does not offer any campus placement. However, it does prepare a student very well that one has a secured academic career after this. I believe placement has never been an issue for any students studying in SAU

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees is to be paid semester wise. Per semester, a student has to pay 440 US $. If a student wants to avail hostel facilities, he/she has to pay 60 US$ per semester. SAU offers scholarships in a good capacity. There is a presidential scholarship for 1st and 2nd rank holders in the entrance exam. Besides that, it also give economic based scholarship to around 4-5 students (department wise).

Campus Life :

Again, this is not to brag but SAU offers the best hostel facilities. The buildings are newly built and feels no less that a 2 or a 3 bhk flat. The social life however is a bit limited because of the rigorous academic schedule. However, sports is much active in the campus. There are tournaments happening (each semester) of Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Badminton, TT, Carrom etc. The academic infrastructure is also good. The academic buildings have super pro max good and cleaned washroom and classrooms with AC.

Hostel Facilities :

Everyone outside from DELHI NCR gets the hostel facilities. The fees is 60 US $ per semester and besides that 3500 INR is to be paid per month for mess fees. The hostel rooms are way too good when compared to other universities. It feels no less than 2/3 bhk flat. On the day of verification, one can apply for hostel as well.

Gargi Colleg , Delhi university

Placement Experience :

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Placement Experience :

Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
