- Peaceful life, good and helpful seniors, academic spaces, a dedicated library and an auditorium under construction
- The University is taking up measures to ensure timely and good fests all round the year with different themes and also to invite various delegates for different events, such as the most recent Global Library Summit held from 3-7 Feb, 2025 which invited delegates from all over the world.
Dislikes
- Lack of placement opportunities for now and the absence of a placement cell.
- Lack of fests for now and limited funds for fests
Remarks :
The criteria for joining the college for BTech/Mtech is either JEE or SAU's own entrance test. They release different merit lists after which the students can pay the respective fee and secure admissions. The University is a government University under SAARC and so far as been an amazing experience.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty is nice and complaints/feedback are taken quite seriously. Student feedback forms are released every semester and proper action is taken against incompetent faculties. Other than that, the faculty is really helpful and make sure that the curriculum they design is at par with what industry requires and also make sure to teach their subjects as effectively as possible.
Internships Opportunities :
We've been promised internships from the 3rd year of our course but we do get mailed redirected from the University about various internship and event opportunities, such as the india space lab winter internship programme and John Hopkins University x VIT Bhopal hackathon.
Placement Experience :
The placement cell is under process and would be done soon. The faculty and management staff has promised that it would be formed soon and a few Mtech batches would get placed before btech and btech+Mtech gets their placement turns
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In the first year the fee is rs 266,530 ($1450 tuition fee for first semester + $60 per semester hostel fee +100 admission fee (applicable once only) + $100 Security deposit (refundable) and ?50 student's aid fund). The tuition fee for subsequent semesters is rs 1250 while everything else remain same. (Conversation rate as of 2024
Campus Life :
Clubs are not too common here. A tech club has recently been formed along with some more like cuktural club. Overall, in terms of fests and clubs, it's not too vibrant here but the overall environment is really peaceful. Seniors and my own batchmates are really fun and cool to engage with and are super friendly. Sports fests are also conducted round the year with one coming up this February. Library is small but nice, another seperate building is to be inaugurated soon along with 4 other blocks dedicated for auditorium space as well as different academic spaces.
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality is decent, an easy 7/10 on most days with a fine variety throught the week and is also changed every month. Hostels are really affordable with ?4980/semester and are spacious too. Each hostel has space for two students to be spaced inside them.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
