For sure, interviews and on seat exams were taken and are kind of easy to attempt, it's a classic general terms based questions. Moreover students there are keen to aid you for grp discussion to whether choose it or not.
The course curriculum is available on Google, just search BFUHS SYLLABUS you'll be able to see the accurate curriculum with all the information in pdf form, with all subjects, duration, clinical posting, hrs of theory and practicals
It's a practical professional course, internship goes on with semesters and also it has a 6 months internship in the 8th semester within the 4th yr of course only. Job opportunities are student's capability based, much placements are not seen genuinely but the various private hospitals in Amritsar are already having students from our college ACN , That' a thumbs-up. After the graduation students can contribute to work in the same state via college placement or rather find jobs in there own States with a better package expectation. The scope going to abroad is well lit in this university, popular for this aspect. @Baba farid university of health and science/ @ bfuhs.
The annual fee structure is one lakh twenty thousand and it's a four year course, so the total amount for the complete course accounts 4 lakh 60 thousand, and for sure the added cost for government hospital clinical posting is valid, accounts 1000 per clinical posting, it takes 1- 2 months clinical posting per semester, its a 8 semester course with 6 months clinical internship in last sem. Though travelling and food allowance must be took in consideration, this college also has a seperate hostel for boys as well as girls in campus, the infrastructure if the college is impressive, it's green and Natured, otherwise the modern technological methods of teaching are also been presented for the advanced quality teaching-learning process, the teaching staff is polite as of the profession and supportive, the mess food has vast variety with great sense of hygiene i must say, rather, to the new students i must request to visit and to decide on your own .
As it's a medical field no clubs and social interactions are much seen, but the campus life is good and it's a sharing environment. Here you can make new friends from various states of India and may have a guiding hands of faculty.
Hostel rooms are organised in a very well ventilated manner, and are very easy to apply direct from the counter of reception at your first visit, moreover the mess food has a lot variety but only for vegetarians, the infrastructure is basic not so advanced, but it's a medical college as well so i personally don't have much expectations, so i recommend to visit then decide.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc
College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys, tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year
Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement. There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
