- Infrastructure of the college was good with seperate buildings for every department,a large playground, a basket ball ground, 2 canteens , a library gurudwara sahib and lots of greenery.
Dislikes
- Faculty is poorly trained. They rarely come for lectures and they are not helpfull to students.Campus life is almost dull because there is no clubs no social events at all. Curriculum is also very old not suitable for industry standards
Remarks :
Factors that made me choose this college was good infrastructure, good location in the city, easily accessible, and easily accessible transportation.There was no admission process except the registration fees.Only requirement for this course was to pass 12th exam in any stream.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because of my interest in technology and IT field. Qualification of the faculty was good mostly were post graduates and doctrate degree holders.Their teaching method was not at all good they only teach some information on topics and expect students to learn and understand the rest at their own. Term exams were on time their difficulty level is 5/10
Placement Experience :
There were no placement at all at this college.No company was invited or came for placement or internships.Only some local company came for seminars or for their promotion at which they ask to give some money first for internship and then they gave you job offer.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fees was around 40000. There was no scholarship from the college side. The fees of the complete course was 150000 and it is increasing every year. Registeration fees for this course was 500rs. Devolpment fees was 750. Course fees for BACHELOR'S OF ARTS was 30000 yearly approx.
Campus Life :
Campus life is okay or I say average.There were not much clubs available. IT spark fest to showcase your talent mostly organised from nov to Jan. There were large variety of books available in library. In classroom only fans,black board and benches were available

I joined the TPP programme by paying an additional fee of ?11,000. Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini and Virtusa visit for recruitment. In 2026 Accenture selected 200 students The highest package is around ?22–25 LPA, while the average is approximately ?5–8 LPA. Around 35–40% of students get placed. I was selected by Virtusa with a package of ?7 LPA, and I plan to start my professional career there after graduation.

if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.
Honest Review of LPU B.TECH CSE:QUALIFIED FACULTY BUT RIGID PLACEMENT RULES
Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
