It's 2nd oldest engineering college after IIT ROORKEE and it's one of the prestigious institute of Maharashtra with a decent placement I had to appear for MHT-CET exam for getting admission it alsso has a no. Of clubs and also have boat club there are also multiple fests
I got this course due to merit the subjects that are taught are according to NEP of Indian government which includes some good subjects but also some unmeaningful subjects the faculties in the college are okayish type some are too good and some are not
I had worked in one of the alumnis company as an intern where I gained a lot of experience also the alumni association is to strong which help the students in college for solving many problems I was a mentor in my alumnis company
For the placements the college is good with a average of 11 lac per annum and highest of 87lac per annum but not a good no. Of students get internship in 3rd year but the placement percentage is between 80-90% that is great and companies also come for core branches
There's a total fee of 1,35,000 for general category students there's 15,000 less for OBC category students but for that they have to apply for MAH-DBT Scholorship after that there is also Alumni Association scholorship for students which also provide laptops to needy students the fees for SC & ST students is only 16,000 which cover all academic fee for one year
The campus life is too good in COEP it's a small campus of 36 acres still there are 50+ clubs which covers all type of intrest there are multiple fest including tech fest Mindspark cultural fest impression sports fest zest and also gathering is there and one of the flagship event of india Regatta
The hostel mess is good but the hostel infrastructure is too poor the annual hostel fee is 55,000rs and there's monthly mess bill but as it comes in main city pune i.e ShivajiNagar there are less chances to find a affordable PG or room
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
