I had given CUET, and got drc as my college in the first list. To be honest history was not my first preference but later i chose to study in this college because even if u did not get your preference subject u will still get a chance to study it as an elective and choose it in your later sems. I also chose this college because read in the internet that the history dept is good and also since its all girls u feel lot more safer and free. Also to note always try to go through your CUET preference sheet as much as u can and choose your course over the college u want to go, it will help u better.
My course is history hons, and it had been better since i joined it. The faculty is good. The professors are very well versed with their subjects and they have their way of teaching and also one should keep in mind that it may get hectic at the end of the sem but if you have prepared well enough from the classes or also by yourself from the beginning, it will be easy. Mid sem exams are quite hectic to prepare so make sure u have good amount of materials. And seniors are really helpful in case of materials so if u have any queries feel free to talk to any senior they will provide you with plenty of information.
Year wise fees that i am paying now is 29000. It also depends on the course you are in for eg. psychology course fees might be higher than history. The fees in the beginning after adding everything altogether was 31200.
Campus life is overall good, because its a girls college u feel much safer and free to do whatever u want. But the campus is small so your area is limited there. The library is well spaced, neat and a really good place if u want to spend time studying on your own. The availability of books is good. The societies in the college are very active so if u become part of one do remember you will have to give your time in societies and your classes might get missed (but they give attendance for that) and u will have to manage society and class together unless you wanna do something related to your society work in future. Sports facilities can be better, as there not many sports available as there are in other colleges so also u should keep in mind if u are someone who likes sports, your choices may be limited.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
