- The college is like heaven, its campus is very beautiful and vast. The faculty here are also very supportive, also the campus life is very friendly.
Dislikes
- Something to dislike is that because of a few rotten tomatoes, all the fresh tomatoes are treated like rotten ones, because of some students involved in intoxication and drugs, others are also suffering.
Remarks :
The first aspect was that I was getting a very good branch in this college, and secondly the campus is heaven here. Like it is one of the most beautiful campuses in India. The admission process for this college includes clearing one of the toughest exams that is JEE Mains, after which we become eligible for the counselling process. Through which I got this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course over others because the job availability is quite good. As students can get jobs for hardware as well as software areas because this course, electronics and communication engineering, provides both the facilities. Also the faculties here are quite strict which hepls a lot for our betterment. The course curriculum is also neither too much hectic, nor too much easy. So it is very good here.
Internships Opportunities :
I will apply for internship the following year. I am currently working on a project based on a tablet and stylus which will help challenged people to study by translating the text into other forms. The college is also providing 60000 for the need.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placements is quite simple. We have to keep out CGPIs above 8 for better placement opportunities. One can’t sit for placements if they are having CGPI less than 7.5. Google, amazon, accenture and many more popular companies come here for recruitments. If someone is unable to go for campus placements, they can go for off campus placements. That’s also a good option.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure varies with respect to generalised quotas, but for the general quota we have to give around 80,000 per semester for tuition fees and 40,000 for hostel and mess fees. For the next semester, we have to give around 20,000 only for the mess fees and additional 80,000 for tuition fees. So, basically it is about 2 lacs per year including tuition and accommodation and fooding.
Campus Life :
The life at the campus is very evergreen and fresh, as the college is in the lap of greenery. The cultural fest takes place in November which is called Hillffair and the technical fest takes place in March which is called Nimbus. The library facility is also very good, where we can issue books digitally without wasting a minute. Sports facilities are outstanding here as people very often go for inter college competitions and we have a very good ground and student activity centre which allows students to play freely. Also various social groups and clubs are present here which helps students in becoming confident.
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality is overall good here, as we can get vegetarian as well as non vegetarian food here. The registration process is quite simple, we just have to pay the fees digitally through SBI collect. We also get snacks at the evening and also we have night canteen from 11pm to 2am.
