JB College is the best for Higher education after HS

- I already mentioned everything but again I want to say that the best decision ever that I apply for the JB College. Infrastructure was good.
- Faculty was also good. I got every help that I need from the faculty. Campus was very eco friendly and natural. We enjoyed many good moment there.
Dislikes
- There is nothing that I dislike but I think the infrastructure can be good from now.
- And also the campus have to be big cause now the college is converted to university.
Remarks :
I will mention good point for my college cause obviously it was gave me a new life where I can understand myself where I understand my thoughts and obviously the professors from my college is always best. They never ignore student and understand every problems of them and also the faculty was too good they make the work too easy and never disappoint the students. And the cut off was too high. JB College is a reputed college of Assam so many students try to get admission there but it's not easy to get admission there and I feel lucky that I got the seat in the best department of the college (that is political science) and the professors from our department was very understandable and to0 much good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
There are many curriculum courses in our college like sports,NCC,NSS and many more and I am grateful that I was selected as a NCC cadet. The faculty was good and the teaching methods are obviously good. The teach us every small details and let us know our values in our life's. They try to teach us what is life, what we have to do in our life and how can do . They are very adorable.
Internships Opportunities :
I got a internship with SBI YFI but is was not available with our college. I hope there will be internship opportunities in our college for the students who want to do. But I don't know about it cause I never tried to know about it.
Placement Experience :
I don't about it too much but I think the placement eligibility is must be a master degree holder. They can have placement as a professor or faculty members. I don't know about the highest and Average package. 30% or 40% students getting placement. Good for higher education.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I paid 650 rupees only for my admission fees and it includes all fees I paid 1300 rupees only for my examination fees I was not a local student so I have to pay for my hostel fees and it was 1600 rupees only monthly for my mees dues and 8400 rupees only as a admission fees for 1year hostel living I was a OBC category student so I don't have to pay more fees on my admission but my friend who was from general class,they have to pay more than mine like 6000 and may be more than it but I think it's affordable for 1year admission and also our college is autonomous and the courses of our college is more better then others. If someone failed in one subject they don't have to pay full payment on their next admission like other colleges. And also I was received a scholarship from ishan udai which was 54000 per year but now it is increased to 80000 due to new education policy.
Campus Life :
I am not remembering the exact date and time but they organize many fest like college week, versity week, cultural night, freshers party and many more. There are so many good books in the library on every subject. they have more then 54178 Book on the library. There are so many clubs in our college but the student union is good. They try to fix everything.
Hostel Facilities :
I already mentioned everything in the 1st review. The food quality was not bad but it was not too good but the facility was good .24/7 water facility,24/7 electricity facility and the mess dues is very affordable. It's only 1600 rupees per month where you can get non veg every day and the admission fees is 8400 rupees only per year.

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.

I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
