There was no selection exam of any sort. I choose this college because of the low fees it offered compared to other colleges. Maybe my admission was done during covid time period they did not take any exams.
I choose this course because I wanted to become a game developer and wanted to learn computer science. Almost every faculty is a doctorate here only 1 or 2 are only master's degree holders. Their teaching methods are standard with a black board and sometimes they used projectors to teach. Exams are conducted every 3 months one being a mid-term of 50 marks and the final semester exam of 100 marks. For difficulty I would say 1st year was hard for me but when I reached 2nd year and the rest all years the exams were easy for me because every subject was related to computers only.
I have opted for Abra Ka Dabra company internship itis ongoing for verification hopefully I get it. My friends btw had an internship, and they had a great experience, sone of them even went to DRDO Hyderabad, and that was given by the college itself.
Eligibility criteria for the placement is you should have no active backlogs in any subjects till date. Mahindra, Infosys, Bosch, TCS, etc are some placement partners here. average package here will be 3 to 5 LPA, highest as of I know was of 1.3Cr. My plans after getting the degree will be to join a gaming company mainly working on Gdevelop game engine.
There is a tuition fees per year of 1,20,000 and, extra fees of Exams, Library, etc, is 10,000. Making it a total of 1,30,000 for each year for B.Tech, Computer Science Engineering. You would also need 5,500 for Uniforms. The total cost of all 4 years will be now a total of 5,25,500.
I am not a social person, but I have seen annual functions, fashion shows, and hackathons happening inside the campus. Library is good and has the books required for study and assignments. Students run many clubs like handball, music, art, etc. There is a focus on sports too as they held national competition for drop row ball a few months back.
Food quality is good, but they never seem to change the menu which becomes repetitive and boring for a long run. Hostel is the best option for anyone coming here because the college is located such a way that it is far away from the city and trust me your bus transport will cost more than the hostel fees. Registering for hostel is very easy as it is located on the same web page where you fill your tuition fees. All in all, I love the hostel life and will always choose it over day schooling.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
