No, i didn't went into any group discussions or interview process. It's just a simple process through CAP rounds. Based on your score in the MHT-CET/JEE-Mains you can get a seat in this college in the govt. Quota. You need a good percentile to get Computer Science engineering i.e. 98%ile+.
The course curriculum is highyl updated as per the industry requirements. The faculty and college administration focuses on providing amazing academic and social skills to students so that they are easily employable. Some students go for higher education too.
The college also has companies which provide internships with PPO opportunities. It helps students to get industry ressy very early. There is a six month internship program in the third year where students get the opportunity to apply for paid internships through college.
The placements at VIT, Pune are great. The average package is 8LPA. The highest package is 45LPA. The median package is 10LPA. So, most of the students are placed in good companies with good packages. It's a great kickstart to one's career. The college also ensures that students get great opportunities.
The total fees for all the four years can range from 7-8 Lakh for tuition fees. And, hostel and other fees can be other 5-6 lakhs. For SC/ST the tuition fees are comparatively lesser i.e. 4K per year. For OBC the fees are 1.10L per year. For GEN the fees are 1.8L per year. That's all about the fees in VIT. Also, for NT/EWS the fees is 28k per year.
The campus life is lit in VIT, Pune. Even though the campus is smaller comparatively, but the major events and regular club events always keep the college life happeneing. If you are a club member in any club you get to network with the seniors, develop interpersonal skills, and enjoy your college life.
The college campus doesn't have any hostel. However, they tie-up wirh other private hostels. Mostly, students prefer living in PGs or rented apartments. It is the best way to compelte your 4 yrs. The vicinity also has several restaurants and messes which provide good food.
The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed

The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
