There are many pros of NSUT. Like the faculties here are superb. Also, the connectivity is great, walking distance from Dwarka Mor metro station and bus stop too just in front of the main gate. The greenery in the campus is also one of the reasons why students prefer NSUT over DTU & IPU. For B.Tech, JEE Mains is the entrance exam for NSUT.
The academics & course curriculum in NSUT is I would say strict. Like the frequency of Class Tests, then assignments, after that midsem and endsem. But the faculties here are really awesome, they have immense knowledge of their respective subjects. Also, they can even solve your academic doubts outside the class.
I've not applied for any kind of internship yet. For now, I'm focusing on developing my skills and after that in next sem, I'll apply for the one I'm interested in. Meanwhile, there are some students who did online from the renowned campanies.
NSUT is known for its coding culture, and hence it's a hub of tech companies like Microsoft, Google, Netflix etc. Apart from these, core Electronics like Texas Instrumentals, Google Silicon, etc comes for placement every year. Recently, De Shaw came for internship opportunities.

Apart from the government scholarships, there is one more based on the academic performance. Top 5% from the branch gets relief on the tution fees
Being honest, you'll not regret taking NSUT, if you got a good friend circle. The campus life is excellent. Specially during the monsoon, the campus looks so so so green and also you will see many beautiful creatures, like peacock, monkey, snake (yeah sometimes). There are more than 40 societies in NSUT, like Ashwamedh (The Dramatics Society), Crescendo (Music Society of NSUT), Nakshatra (The Astronomy and Mathematics Society), and many more from every field. Moksha, the annual cultural fest of NSUT, held during March every year. It's considered one of the biggest fests of North India.
Hostel life at NSUT, what better than this, yeah sometimes you'll miss your home food, but you have to adjust with the hostel mess. Every year student have separate hostels, also there's distance between the boy's and the girl's hostel. You can apply for hostel, but priority for those who are from outside Delhi-NCR. Also, there are a number of PGs near NSUT just at 5-minute walking distance.
