I cleared JEE for this I scored 90.2 or 90.4 percentile. Can't remember clearly. As I applied OBC and I was a girl (NSUT has a girl quota). I was in a good branch ECE but later after 1st sem got over I was upgraded into IT. What made me choose this college is clearly the exposure I got in this college and the people I have met and also that there's a good placement rate of this college. I considered other options too but this overpowered. And after the jee result counseling round starts where you get to fill your choice of branch you want according to the priority and after 20-25 days you get the result in my case because I did it from jac Delhi . No idea about jossa.
I chose this course because I have always wanted to be in the tech sector and seeing my marks I got IT which I think will be helpful to me in achieving that. And the faculty is really nice and helpful if you try contacting them and if you genuinely want to study from them. Their teaching methods are very simple and easy to understand. There are many exams happening around the semester first there is a CT1 class test before or after mid semester then there are mid semester exams and then CT 2 before end semester exams and then end semester exams . Difficulty level of CTs are not that much because it is made by the teacher who is teaching you only but the mid and end semester exams can be little bit tough. It also depends on the branch. In btech it is very much dependent on branch like ECE is the Hardest branch it gets difficult questions and on the other side CS and IT department gets easier questions but also there are lots of pyqs available for each subject
Fee is different for every year and we get a feel structure too and there is no different charges for different categories but there are scholarships too. For example for my 23-24 batch I paid 2.29 lakh and this year I paid 2.4 lakh.
Life at campus is good but the friend group also plays a very important role in making that campus life good. There have been two fests since I joined -resonanz which was in oct 24 and moksha which was in march 24. There are lots of books available in the library like literally a lot and there are many copies so there won't be an issue of stock out. Most of the classrooms are ac rooms and well equipped. And some of which are not they are work in progress. There are many societies which students run by themselves and also there's an app nsutx for cheking attendance time table and much more academic stuff and a whatsapp bot for checking attendance and also to see how many classes you can leave or you have to attend to be in the safe zone

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
