I got AIR 80k in JEE Mains 2022 for which I was eligible to take admission here in this university in Electrical Engineering. The admission was done through OJEE counselling and the admission process was very simple with the faculties giving a good support.
The course curriculum is based on OJEE and GATE Syllabus. Thus it helps to give a good experience in competitive exams after the degree completion. After all the courses have many industrial application subjects which helps the students to get a good experience in industry level.
No I have not done any internship in my own university. But since the faculties are highly qualified and have done their PhD and Mtechs from IITs and NITs so there is plenty of oppurtunity for students here for doing research projects as well as engineering projects.
Placements are super nice. Average is around 4 lakhs for core while for IT and CSE it 6 lakhs per annum. The placement cell takes much interest and pain in attracting every companies to the university for placement.
The tuition fees are 32000 for core branches and 78000 for CSE and IT branches as the university is Odisha State Government funded. There is also tuition fee waiver scheme for economically backward students which can be availed by the students by the rules of University administration. The fees are very minimal and affordable. No concessions are available and its Government subsidised.
The life at Campus is so nice. THe library is filled with so many variety of engineering discipline books and campus social life is so cool. Fests , cultural dance programmes , music and others make the life here full of entertainment. various festivals like Diwali , holi and all are celebrated very nicely here.
There are four hostels in the hostel campus. 2 boys and 2 girls hostel. The rooms are well equipped with wifi and bed facilities available. The food quality is very nice. Boys hostel does not provide breakfast but girls hostel does provide. Security is nice. In time of girls hostel is 7:30 pm and for boys its 11 pm.
After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement
There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.
for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.
It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.
Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.
Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .
The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.
Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges
Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
