Likes
- Placements are so good in PICT. It is even compared with iiits in terms of placements.You get equal opportunities to excel good placement.
- Faculty are so wise and supportive.they teach pretty well as well.
Dislikes
- Campus is Pretty small , which might affect some students who have thaught campus will be big as other colleges like nits or iits.
- Academics is vigorous. The college is so much focus on academics. Sometimes college times might get so hectic and exhaustive.
Remarks :
The college name that has driven me to this college as Computer Engineering from PICT is the best in Maharashtra and it is of level of COEP, Discussions have done a lot of times about which college to choose but at the end i choose PICT. I have give MHT-CET for the admission in this college,can take admission from management quota,jee-mains. The only bad aspect of the college is campus area and strict academics But the overall college is good. Cut-off for this year for CE are 99.47 for OBC category
Course Curriculum Overview :
I want to pursue only Computer Engineering from a good college in Maharashtra . And I got admission in PICT top engineering college in Maharashtra. Qualification of almost every faculty are master is respective subjects. The teaching method is excellent. Term exams occurs 2 times a semester.yearly 2 semesters. The difficulty level of examination is according to the college level as it is an autonomous college from 2024-2025
Internships Opportunities :
I have opted an internship from Barclays for 3 months offers valuable hands-on experience as worked as a summer analyst . The opportunities such as college-specific internship, Industry-specific internship, College Internship program, and many more induction also taken. Barclays-350000/ month Abs-28000/month,etc
Placement Experience :
Placement are good. Last year around 14.1L is the average. This is ongoing is around 12.2L average. Every good company comes here for students hiring. Eligibility criteria is 6-7 CGPA. Total percentage of students getting placed for CE is 97.66,IT is 92.85,ENTC is 87.2. Some companies are Barclays,delhivery, bitwise, Accenture , gold mann sachs,HCL,L&T,etc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution fees-90000 Development fees-15000 Registration fees-1000 Obc category wise:- Tution fees-55000 Development fees-15000 Did not got any scholarship or financial aid. My other batchmates have availed TFWS and need to pay only 23000 for 1st year and from next year 13500 need to paid
Campus Life :
College is going good the way I have imagined before taking admission into it Social life is interesting as I regularly meet new friends as a fresher. All types of clubs are there great club volunteers. Infrastructure is upto date and everything available. Fests are manthan,codelicious,PASC, etc. All types of books available as hardcopy as well as softcopy,also have NPTEL library. All the amenities are available required for students. Sports and extra curricular activities are less focused. Pict.edc Pict.edu Pichacm,etc are the social handles and website run by students and college.
Hostel Facilities :
I have opted for a hostel at the college but I didn't get because of limited rooms available for students. Around 60 rooms(2 or 3 students/room)available for FE's. I have taken the hostel outside the college. Hostel mess is good but after a time we get bored. To apply for hostel rooms get to the college as soon as possible as there are limited rooms and contact the dean of the hostel.

It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.
The Time I Had Spent in my College

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
