- I liked the faculty and curriculum in the college
- I liked the city where the college is located.
Dislikes
- Actually there are 2 campuses, one (south) for core branches(EC, EEE, mech, etc...) and other(north) for IT branches(CSE, ISE and AIML)and these 2 are almost 14 to 15 km apart. north is almost out of city and south is proper in the city
- The fest are limited and all main fest are done in south (i.e core branches one). so the one in north will miss the events.
Remarks :
I got this college through KCET. I got the rank of 9k in KCET so in the colleges which I would get I felt this was the best college out of them and personally I wanted this college more than other. There are 3 main factors for which I joined this college. 1st the rank of the college in Karnataka, it stands in top colleges of Karnataka .2nd the place where the college is, that is Mysore . Mysore is my personal fav. 3rd alumni of the college, that is Infosys co-founder and CEO Narayana Murthy sir was the alumnus of this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It is great a college. Faculties here are great .they are very cooperative ,throughout the course is great is interesting. We have practical minded curriculum including experiential learning programs.
Internships Opportunities :
no I have not opted for any internships as I am my 1st semester and I plan to get into some internships in future any how there lot of internships opportunities in here, and even students are allowed to get outsides internship once after taking permission from the principal
Placement Experience :
placements here in nie are too good.last year the highest package was around 43 lpa and packages averages around 10lpa . out of 125 ,105 students from ISE got placed as of my knowledge.many companies like JP Morgan, TCS , Infosys, Oracle, L&T come here for recruitment
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There 3 ways to enter this college. I got this college via KCET. the other 2 ways are through COMEDK and Management quota. The fees for KCET is 107000per year . That of COMEDK is 2.88 lacks and for management is 17 lacks. For who get this college through KCET in SNQ quota is around 30 k per year.
Campus Life :
campus life here in NIE is great. Tests and events are very common but differs accordingly whether study in north campus or south campus.in terms of library both north and south campus provide a good amounts of books which are relevant to the syllabus.
Hostel Facilities :
hostel rooms fill faster here in both north and south campuses. food is ok and infrastructure is good and moreover there is gym facility in both campuses.application of hostel rooms will be in the college admin block only and there is a office chamber in both hostels to get more details about it.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
