A brief review on the journey at NIE IT
Likes
- The college has a very good eco friendly environment
- Faculties were good with their profession and supported us well .
Dislikes
- They didn't provide proper placement opportunities
- They did not conduct a proper farewell or a graduation day at the end of the course
Remarks :
The campus was huge and well-organized, there were no group discussions interviews or written tests for admission. I had got this college through my CET ranking so once I visited the campus due to its huge infrastructure and the opportunities they provided I opted for this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum was completely based on the academic calendar and the faculties followed it without any delay the SSP scholarship was issued regularly which helped in the yearly fee payment, the exams were conducted according to the VTU time table and the difficulty level was moderate
Internships Opportunities :
The internship was not provided by the college we had to search for offline internships on our own as online internships were not considered, but the lecturers guided us by sharing some good offline internships that we could pursue
Placement Experience :
Placement and internship opportunities were really bad no well known companies had come for placements, and only sales and call center companies had visited for placements which was a really bad experience.
Campus Life :
The social life was not that good, fests were conducted very rarely and without proper attention, sports were conducted regularly apart from that nothing special in my social life, I had opted for a hostel and the food was really bad and they needed to improve their food quality and quantity.

Course Curriculum Overview :
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
