A brief review on the experience at NIE IT
Likes
- The infrastructure of the college is really good , huge campus, nature and canteens it has a good vibe around it
- The faculties are friendly and the campus life was okay as we had really less social activities in the college
Dislikes
- The college fests were not organised well and at the final year they didn't even organise a proper farewell nor a graduation day to us who were graduating.
- The fact that they didn't even organise a proper farewell was really disappointing.
Remarks :
Eco-friendly campus with lots of trees and nature, no traffic or pollution, and friendly staff. No there were no group discussions or interviews or written tests for admission, the difficulties were that the food provided in the college canteen was not up to the mark and needs a lot of improvement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose ECE because later once graduating I could opt for hardware or software which would give me a chance to choose between both fields in which I may be comfortable and the Academics were organized accordingly to the Academic calendar without any delays or problems, Scholarships (SSP, NSP) were provided regularly. The difficulty level of exams was moderate without much difficulty, referring to the previous year's question papers would help.
Internships Opportunities :
I had opted for an internship on my own, no internships were provided through the college, so we on our own had to try for internship opportunities. Offline internships are more often preferred than online internships.
Placement Experience :
Placements and job opportunities were very less, initially, we had some companies visiting us but later nope only sales companies used to come for placement, no core or IT company came for interviews which was a really bad experience.
Campus Life :
Social life was okayish, Fests were conducted very rarely and the management didn't contribute much, to be Frank, but the college gave prominent to sports in every field, cricket, basketball, and volleyball tournaments were conducted now and then, and I had not opted to hostel but according to the feedbacks of my hostel friends the food provided was not good.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
