- The rooms in which classes are conducted of Political Science are fully air conditioned and Newly built. Campus is full of greeenry and blooming flowers
- Teachers are really supportive and caring. They are communicative and friendly with the students
Dislikes
- Everytime you have to carry your ID Card to get entry in the college otherwise it gets very difficult
- Librarby is air conditioned but sitting is very less there.
Remarks :
This college has a reputed and excellent Political Science Dept. It is one best dept in Colleges of South Campus. It has good and supportive teachers. The teachers are really experienced and nice. CUET is required to get admission here
Course Curriculum Overview :
Political Science is the most sort after course in Uiversity of Delhi. It is highly helpful for giving exams Like UPSC CSE , State PCS and Teaching Profession too. Its agreat course to understand National and International Politics
Placement Experience :
There area lot of scope like Administrative Services Like IAS , Teaching, Political Media and Journalism and other scopes such as Political Analyst, Political Consultant, Political Advisor etc. This is a dynamic field and you can pursue your choices and interests
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In first year I paid 12897 In Second Year i paid 14000 appx But fee is quite affordable The fee is quite economical as comapred to hefty amount in private institutions. There is quality of students who are meritorious
Campus Life :
Mostly fests are conducted in February and March. Library is quite air conditioned and has all variety of books. There are debating and film making socities in the college such as Abhivyanjana and Kaleidoscope etc.
Hostel Facilities :
The College Canteen is really good. It has huge variety of dishes. Rates are too economical and Samosa of here is very famous. Nearest Locality to live here is Satyaniketan but due to poor living conditions and congested area I recommend to shift to other nearby areas

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated
