Qualifying exam:- JEE-MAINS CUT-OFF:- general -158064 Obc- 260000 Sc- 213000 St- 340000 These are the crl closing rank of csab and these are gender neutral home state cutoffs Consider around half of these ranks as other state cutoffs
I just wanted to get into a top tier college(didnt think much about the course) Idk much about qualification of faculties but top faculties are phd scholars in my branch Teaching method is very good but mind you, there is absolute grading system 1st,3rd,5th,7th,9th sem mid sems are held in September end and end sems are held November end 2nd,4th,6th,8th,10th sem mid sems are held in february end and end sems are held in april end. Exams i experienced in my 1st sem are of pretty good level (like if u r planning on getting 8-9 cgpa studying one day before, that wont happen here)
No, but as informed by seniors, internship stats are also pretty decent For research, u can explore around and find many internship opportunities and get to iits for internship And in it and other sectors, there are huge number of opportunities
Placement scenario is pretty good as compared to other colleges but my branch(life science) has a bad placement stats this year I mean the highest package in the it sector was 1.2 crore this year and that too was got by an Electronics branch student
?For 1st year (81500(1st sem)+56500(2nd sem)=132000 ) ?And, in 2nd, 3rd & 4th year, 56500 per sem, So, 113000 per year in 2nd 3rd and 4th year ?In 5th year,i.e, for 9th sem it is 59500 and for 10th sem it is 56500, so last year fees is 116000 IN OUR COURSE, THERE IS NO FEE WAIVER FOR SC/ST/PH/Family income<100000 About scholarships, there are many schemes for sc/st and low annual income students, and to make u aware about it, there is an official ICS group(Institute counselling services),basically they provide a mentor who informs u about scholarships schemes and clears your doubts and some schemes are provided by NIT ROURKELA Official site which is informed to u by NITR WEBMAIL. Genuine students get very good scholarships.
Very good campus life, campus is very beautiful Fests i have enjoyed till date:- Multiethnic fest/COSMOPOLITAN in October end Innovision fest in November end There is a big library(BPCL) in the campus open to all students and there is a huge collection of books and journals in the library AC classrooms in lecture halls and spacious classrooms For every major indoor and outdoor sport, there are specific locations provided and well maintained(for eg., beautiful swimming pool i hv seen in an educational institute till now) And many sports events are held like inter, intra hall events, sports fests, intra and inter nit, etc.
I have been alloted to VS HALL OF RESIDENCE(2nd largest in hostel in ASIA, largest in india) Food is decent, hostel mess fees includedin the fees i mentioned above Hostel reg was very simple, just fill a form there, update payment info on website and u will be alloted a room in 5-10mins. Our hostel provides many services like SPORTS FACILITIES(badminton, table tennis, volleyball, spacious ground to play cricket, football, boundary runway, etc.),Music room, reading room,TV room, day and 2 night camteen inside hostel

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement
There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.
for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.
It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.
Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.
Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .
The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.
Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges
Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
