But the campus is literally synonymous to heaven with lush greenery and has a river in the campus. Course curriculum is well designed but the thing is the schedule is very hectic and the professors are cooperative but it is recommended to watch YouTube for revision, faculty at BIT Mesra are all PhD level. Term exams are timely without any delay so you have to match the frequency of the professor.
No I have not opted for any internship but I would love to as the college professors are friendly they will definitely guide to get a internship with a good stipend. It will give a good experience and wil make me updated

Sports track here is even larger than many IITs with 3 badminton courts.
Hostel fees is 35000 for mess( 5000 caution money) and 30000 hostel charge for whole year. Mess food is arguably better than many colleges with mess menu decided by students only . Hostels are well maintained with cleaning twice a day and room cleaning once a week.
I have chosen Btech in computer science and machine learning. Because it was my dream to become a software engineer. And I pursued it through IIT ranchi. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own
"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
