Likes
- Faculties and lab schedules are good. Different course backgrounds students meet up to create a learning environment.
- Lab tasks are given properly. Assistance is provided at every level for any Inconvenience faced.
Dislikes
- No proper areas for students to Interact.Fewer capacity libraries with no proper system for computer science students. 24x7 charging facilities for laptops as needed most of the time is unavailable.
- No proper management for 1st year students. Classes even labs are not available and that becomes a reason for the cancellation of Important classes. Proper management is required. Sessions must be provided for guidance in 1st year to students by their seniors.That creates a healthy relation between seniors and juniors.
Remarks :
I asked my elder brother and sisters about a good college in NORTH INDIA. They advised me of GEU, Dehradun because of its good opportunities and faculties. However, it has a smaller campus area and less basic facilities like library facilities and a separate area for Computer Science field Research.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose AI and DS as specializations because of the future scope and its growth. And also because of my interest in today's developing AI fields. Faculties of respected fields are quite cooperative and strict, that is a plus point. But also there is some sort of inconvenience because of newly introduced smart boards, it's all PPT-based.
Internships Opportunities :
No, currently am not eligible for internships. I am still at the learning stage. But we are provided with mini projects after 3 semesters onwards and that helps students a lot in choosing and gaining much more about their field of Interest.
Placement Experience :
Students are provided with different companies' interview sessions. However, students are placed at high packages mostly because of outside-campus placements. But as contacted with the faculties we were told that more companies are to be called up to 2026. As they are trying their best to provide the best packages to the students based on their qualities.
Campus Life :
Educational Fests are conducted hardly but Entertaining events are held quite often. For higher standards, Books are not available as easily as any other. It's all because of a lack of communication between faculty and librarians, like which books are needed more.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
