Eligibility: 50% and above in 12 exams no jee required in (MDU) Admission process: you have to submit the application which one of the overly excited recruiters will help you fill then give a 5 minute interview
As mentioned I chose this course because I did not attempt jee and MDU doesn't require jee for engineering courses, over all the experience hasn't been good there is very bad management cannot pay fees in any other way other than cash the syllabus isn't on the same level as iits ofc but it's actually much lower, the term exam checking is also done in a messed up way where they seem to fail students quite randomly (talking about term exams conducted by University) faculty in itself is qualified enough but because the syllabus isn't as advanced they only teach what is required the placements are also between bad and mediocre Students are assigned different colleges (DITM in my case) and that is where I'm a student on paper and the studies happen here.
I am applying for internships through internship cells and societies the college also provides intership opportunities and placement drives in the third and final year of btech but you can try even in first year through societies and cells
The college doesn't have any good placements with very low packages (I was promised an average package of 14Lakh per annum which was a lie) there are placement cells and internship cells you can be a part of or be present in their internship drives to work on your future but the college itself hasn't been helpful
Registration + security = 30k Each semester fee: 60k Each sem exam fee: 5650 (Above fee bracket for MDU students) (The fee is different for bba and BCA courses) (All fee is to be paid in cash they do not accept any other payment methods)
Campus is very small and divided into 4 buildings 2 of which are in the same boundry belonging to IPU while the other two are in different Boundaries for MDU, D51 janak puri is the building for btech students, it has 3 floors, the classrooms are modern with projectors, modern desks and centralised air conditioning and a canteen while the recruiters do promise a library one library is being constructed in the college basement, the basement also has 2 computer labs and 1 electronics lab, the computers are up to date. The college conducts a freshers party at hyatt hotel janakpuri which is average and an annual fiesta apart from that there are college fests and there are many societies to join specifically the nexturn internship cell for finding internships. There is a sports day which is conducted in rented grounds the college doesn't have any place for sports, the crowd isn't good
The college is near my house so I just commute but the college is near many pgs and hostels and also near metro station so it is easy to commute daily, the college doesn't not have its own hostel or pg facilities
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
