I was looking for college just after my 12th board result, then I started searching for colleges, gave CUET but didn’t get the desired college, so I directly reached out to IITM just told me to fill admissions form but they degree would be affiliated to MDU ( A University in Haryana) so I took the admission.
I was into computers from the start so I wanted to do something in that field only so I chose BCA. The faculty there is nice from the start to help you understand the concept but due to the lack of interest of students the attendance in the class started to decrease semester by semester. 1 internal exam is conducted every semester in between the semester and 1 Final Semester Exam. Teachers help by giving important questions for both internal and Final exams.
I haven’t opted for any internships through college but I had done some work with a few people and A Company. College does provide the company Job Profiles in the college group itself so that students don’t miss out
Companies do come for placement but the package they provide is not so good but seeing as a fresher it works. Companies like Wipro, and Amazon came for mass recruitment and hired a good amount of students. The average percentage one can have is 70 percent aggregate without any backlog.
My College does conduct fests every year called Fiesta, due to less space on the campus they conduct fests in stadiums like Talkatora all of which they demand a specific amount. Books for the semester are available in the library only, one can get them after clearing all their dues. They also conduct inter-college sports matches like Cricket, basketball, volleyball etc. Some music societies and placement cells are there to help students
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
