Did some research for best chemical Engineering collages and came arount ICT Mumbai and TKIET. I asked some friends, and I came to know this collage is A very Good choice if you want to do BTECH in chemical Engineering
Chemical Engineering is a core branch and I had interest in it since it is a versatile Profession. The faculty in this collage are highly qualified and are in contacts with various MNC's and Companie's alumnis.
No, I have not opted for any internships yet. But an currently doing courses related to chemical engineering branch. These courses are offered by NPTEL and mukh Organisations which are government aided courses.
For good placement, students should have a good CGPA arount 8.00 to 9.00+. Huge companies like Galaxy, TCS, World, Tecnimont come every year for recruiting the students from all the departments. Our chemical department boasts 100% placement every year. The highest avg package is 7 LPA
The fees for our BTECH education is ?120000(one lakh twenty thousand rupees)per year. Apart from that Students can avail concessions through reservations like OBC/SC/ST/SBC and other type of schorlarship concessions on their fees.
Campus life is good. There's no pollution in our campus. A lot of plants and greenery and also cases like ragging are nowhere to be seen. The library of our collage has all the materials required to complete courses in Engineering, pharmacy and Commerce. Various clubs amongst students makes social engagement easier. All the departments have Thier own student association run by the students themselves. Festivals like the General Championship, Spandan, Etc are conducted thought the year on a huge scale.
There is a separate Area for all the hostel infrastructure. There are a total of 10 hostel buildings housing more Than a 1000 students. The rooms are good which can house 3 students per room. Every floor on our hostels have bathrooms and washrooms. There's a canteen in our hostel along with a mess. The food quality is average in our mess and students can opt for mess elsewhere since there are a lot of good quality mess within our campus;)
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
