- The infrastructure of the college campus is very good with much greenery and labs
- There is a ship in campus inside the college campus which has real life optimally working machineries similar to that in the real ship
Dislikes
- There is a shortage of labs inside the campus. They are to be used from the labs of the university
- There is physical training in the morning at 6 O clock which can make us tired for the class
Remarks :
The factors considered for the admission to this college is by two entrance tests. The first one is the IMU-CET exam conducted by the Indian maritime university and the second one is the CUSAT-CAT exam conducted by the Cochin university of science and technology. The admission process also considers a cut off percentage of 60 percent in the 12th final result in physics, chemistry, mathematics and English
Course Curriculum Overview :
The outcome of this programme is the job of a marine engineer in a ship. Thr faculties in this college have very high qualification and undergo proper procedure and interview for their teaching in this college. There are also 4 chief marine engineers which have sailed and have minimum 10 years of practical experience of the job
Internships Opportunities :
There is no internship required for the job placement and hence there is no application for internship. Some super seniors have applied for internship in the Cochin Shipyard for 10 days but there is no stipend made available to them.
Placement Experience :
There is nearly 100 percent campus placement available in this campus. Nearly 10 to 15 companies come fir the campus placement drives. Some of the companies include Synergy group, Fleet marine, etc with nearly 500 dollars as starting monthly salary
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees structure for this programme is semester wise and not year wise The year wise fees that I am paying is approximately 204500 rupees. This include tuition fees of 147430, hostel fees of 32170, books fees of 6705,uniform fees of 16760,caution deposit of 6705,admission fees of 13405 and many more This is the state merit fees structure of 2022 admission batch. There is also all India merit fees structure which is way higher than this one. It can increase upto 80000 per year. There is also scheme for egrantz scheme by Kerala government for economically backward community in which the entire fees is paid by the government.
Campus Life :
The life at campus is adjustable ans just comfort. The images which I uploaded is of the 2022 December Christmas celebration There are generally AFL books required to complete the studies of the portions in the syllabus.
Hostel Facilities :
There is a hostel inside the college campus assigned for the students studying in the college The hostel also contains a mess hall. The food is normally okay. The food menu includes all day non vegetarian food which may be either fish, chicken or egg which may be available at any one meal of the day

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty

Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
