I choose this course , because I want to create my career in arts and designing industry. Here I get exposure According to my interest. All the facilities are mainly graduated by nift only but sone of them are outsiders according to the skills required. Mainly faculties are PHD holders. And the teaching method of faculties are very different. As design is so subject everybody teaches it according to them. Every semester we have juries that are our exams only. Here we get a design brief and we have to done the assignment accordingly and then present in juries.
I get ab internship but not from college I get it myself on the basis of my portfolio. I was doing work for them for 2 months. I had to design wall arts and making them for them. I got 5000 per months stipend for that internship.
Fir placement we need to pass all semesters. Sometimes company asked for 8+CGPA students. You must have a strong portfolio. Other than that we get to get internships in the summer break of 3rd year. There were titen, Rahul Mishra etc for recruitment. 90-100% students get placed only if they have good portfolio. My plan is to create my own brand after graduation.
Fee vary semester wise. In the even semesters we pay library, medical and other fees with tuition fees. But in odd semester we pay only tuition fees. Every year with new session fees increases by 10,000 at least. There is no privilege for any quota. But the NRI students have to pay fees that is more than 4 times of regular fred as well as they have to pay it the whole year all together.
The main fest of our college is Spectrum. That conducted in between February and March. Other than that different activities and programs keep happening whole year. Our Library is too good we've every resource. There is a website called WGSN only nift students have the access to it. It's a direct connection to fashion world to know what is in Trend and what's going on. Sports are very limited in our college because the campus is too short for that. There is a group baned as enactus jmtgat comes under social club they do the good activities outside college as well.
I didn't opt hostel. There is no message in hostel. Also hostel is for girls only. They eat from canteen only or they deal with tiffin services for food. The registration process for hostel is dusmring the councelling only. I live in OG near college that is in 10mins walking distance from college m
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
