I was always keen to go to nift ever since I was a kid, I love fashion and how to use functionality and crafts of India and what not, it was a great experience from starting to end , I loved every part of it . If you’re preparing for nift there are 3 tests you have to cover, first is cat (creative ability test) with gat ( general ability test) where maths and GK and English comes and then if you clear both of them then you give situation test where you have to create a 3d project and on that basis you get your rank
Faculty is amazing , few of them are not actually, you’ll see that by yourself , it really depends on you, but I’ll be suggesting to be in good terms with the faculty for a long term benefit, nift can really provide you with connections
Oh ya I did first internship in Noida , the company’s closed so no name my graduation project was with Levi’s in Bangalore it was my greatest achievement and went great I landed a good placement because of that, highest in my class

Fee structure depends on per semester, and it keeps on changing from start to end , 2 and 3 year are the highest the total was approx 12 lakhs combining all the semesters , every semester it’s around 120000 and sometimes 150000
Spectrum and converge are the biggest fears at nift but you’ll never be bored coz dandiya night to book fests to aarambh drama practise , all just keeps on happening , library is full of books and knowledge you’ll need for the rest of your life
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
