- The whole campus Is refreshing with number of canteens that serve great food.
- The management hostel and canteen is worth it
Dislikes
- The arrogance of the faculty is really disturbing.. They are rude to students but they behave well with parents
- Non coordial managing staff .. They provide timings to visit and when visited at specified time they tell us to wait for another hour.
Remarks :
As I am a CA student I need a college with no attendance compulsion. This college has no attendance issues& Great Camups which is a win win situation for me. The cut off is quiet decent for B. Com.. So a person getting above 75% can easily get named in the cutoff list.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Never attendance lectures... Every thing of this course was covered in my CA curriculum.. So I cannot describe more about it.. However as far as I have known the faculties, they are highly qualified with few holding PhD in their respective areas. The exam times and dates are fixed and they never clash with festivals or with any other course exams. The exams were easy for me as I am already a CA student.. However, my other batchmates faced difficulty in tackling it.
Internships Opportunities :
No.. Did not opt for as I am already a CA student doing internship from a CA firm so I need not go and get internship placement from my college. However if you have a good CGPA you can surely get placed via campus placement from Somaiya
Placement Experience :
15-30k per month package after graduation. PWC,DELOITTE and few small CA firms have their recruitment done from Somaiya for the post of accountants specifically.. Other than that the highest package was 30k per month during my year... No idea of the minimum package.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees structure is in increasing order 12k for 1st year, 14-15k for second, 17-18k for the third year as far as I can remember. There is no registration or admission fees in this course there is only course fees annually for a year. The course fees is inclusive of all other charges. There is no scholarship scheme for this course for general students. I have no idea about others
Campus Life :
For social people... Somaiya is worth it as it has great events and fests and one can me a part of several committees... It consists of all the amenities naming from science labs, computer labs, Auditoriums, canteens, different grounds for different sports like football, basketball, badminton etc... It has various social groups like NCC, NSS which is run by students themselves for which they get accredited.

Placement Offers were Good on Records till now Collage has its own Placement Department. The Placement Department is operated by professionals. It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.
The Time I Had Spent in my College
Placement Experience :
Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

Placement Experience :
The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.

Placement are very good there are multiple job opportunities provided in a college multiple companies also visit for the placement in second third year students also internship provided and multiple students get PPO from that internship so but in 2024 the internship and placement both ratio is little low or the highest placement gone till now is only 35 lakh per annum
