This college is the best engineering college of odisha with 19 th rank in enginnering known by NIRF ranking. I had to do btech, so I prepared for JEE and appeared in exam. After qualifying that I am here.
Course curriculum is very good, it is not that much big to give a student hight pressure. A student can easily cover it. And the academics of college is very strict and better. It is always in for of students. And the faculties are very nice to students and supportive.
As, I am in first year I am not opted for any type of scholarships. But according to our seniors you can go for internships through the clubs of coding and robotics. There are such technical clubs which helps students to develop their skills.
In upper branches like CS, AI, EC, EI, there are 100% chances of placements. And also the package is very good, on campus it's touching to 70+ LPA. But in lower branches there a little bit lesser chance of placements but if your CGPA is good means above 8.5 then you can sit in placements.
In a year I am paying a total of 98000. But my total fee per year is 223000. As my parents income is below 1 lakh there is a scheme in our college that the tuition fee which is of 125000, will be wavered. And they take money semester wise like this I am paying 49000. But if your income is more than 1 lakh then you will have to pay 111500 per semester.
Our hostel campus is very silent and green. According to me it's a better place to explore yourself. There are 2 fests conducted in a semester. Technical fest and multi ethnic fest are conducted in first semester, cultural and sports fest are conducted in second semester. There is a central library where you can go and study also you can bring books to your room for a time interval. There are all sports club to explore yourself. Many websites are opening by students and several type of clubs are there to explore.
My hostel is the biggest hostel of my college. Menu is very nice and the food quality is very good. Hostel rooms are also good and there are playgrounds inside hostel campus also. If you are from other city then you have to stay in hostel compulsory but for homecity students they can do day boarding.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement
There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.
for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.
It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.
Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.
Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .
The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.
Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges
Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
