I have given the test to jee mains and advanced and secured the rank of 459 in jee advanced Good aspect of my college is that there are lot of opportunities available apart from academic like sports equipment,tech teams , culture club . Bad aspect maybe lot of competition between the students and pressure to always do well otherwise u will be lagged behind
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I don't want to do coding all day and sit near laptop all day I want to do work with my own hands and electrical topics fascinate me . All the professor of our institute are PhD in their respective course and they teach quite well . exam pattern are quite similar to school there are midsem endsem and assignment which we have to in between

Life is great at iit Bombay . almost everyday something is happening for you to get engaged mood Indigo Asia biggest fest happens here in the time of December after endsem occurred. We also have books for everyone in our library,all sports that are played at international level are played here
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel Life is amazing at iit Bombay. cleaning of floor and washroom are done 3 times a week and room cleaning are done once a month there is lift in hostel and washing machine at each floor .food quality is also good there are different varieties and in a month I rarely seen a same dishes repeating..also often there is special dinner at mess in which lot of good stuff are there to pleased u

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
