Remarks :
B.Com( hons.) Course is only provided by the university in the area. Moreover university have a very good reputaion and placement opportunities. University entrance exam is supposed to be taken for the admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Wanted to pursue in the commerce stream. The university has highly qualified and experienced teacher. Exams are conducted twice in a semster- mid semester and final semester exams. The exams are moderate difficult.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Ist, 2nd and 3rd year Rs. 115000 approx each year. SC students avail scholarships from government and other eligible students can apply for half or full fee concession and physically handicap fund.
Campus Life :
There are number of annual fests and events conducted by the university and departments as well. All the books are available in the main Library and even the department ls have their own mini Library. Sports events are also frequently conducted by the university.

I joined the TPP programme by paying an additional fee of ?11,000. Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini and Virtusa visit for recruitment. In 2026 Accenture selected 200 students The highest package is around ?22–25 LPA, while the average is approximately ?5–8 LPA. Around 35–40% of students get placed. I was selected by Virtusa with a package of ?7 LPA, and I plan to start my professional career there after graduation.

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.

Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
