- College infrastructure is good and we can play various sports activities here.
- Our faculty members are highly educated and we can learn a lot from them about industry and placements.
Dislikes
- I don't like the transport facility..the college bus is always standing in the college but the have not made it to run on the bus stand to college route... Students face a lot difficulties on reaching the college
- There are too many speed breakers on the way to college that doesn't limit the speed but damages our vehicles and rest there is no checking on the gate and outsiders are often entering the college premises which should be stopped
Remarks :
The admission criteria for admission is through councelling that is carried out by HPTU (Himachal Pradesh technical University) at Hamirpur. Hpcet is the entrance exam conducted by the university but councelling is also done on the basis of Jee mains score and if seats are left unfilled then on +2 basis one could get admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because Im interested in automobile sector and I'm seeking forward to do higher studies in this domain. Our faculty is highly qualified teachers and the teaching is good if you are interested to study. Every semester there are two mid semester exams between 1 month gap and at the end there is one end sem exam for every subject.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for internship at this time but I have come to know from my seniors that there are many internships like in private firms with a stipend of about 15,000pm...rest when I'll join the program then I can update this review.
Placement Experience :
Placements are on a growing stage in our college and recent batch student got placed at 12lpa...internships are good and overall teachers are very supportive in this matter so they can give you lots of advice and there are guest lectures also so it's informative. My plans after getting this degree is persuing higher studies like mtech. Placements are not 100% but its about 50% that I know.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is about 55,000 to 60,000 as our fees gets changed every semester. There are various scholarship schemes that one could fill and these can be availed through nsp( national scholarship portal). There is no fees change between categories but the only change is that girl's fees is lesser. It's about 9,000 per semester for them.
Campus Life :
Campus Life is good here as we have a good amount of market nearby with all the essential items available there. Our library is also good and almost every important book is available there and a new library block is also done with finishing and it may be started with next session.. Sports activities are there and we can also participate in inter college sports meet. Every branch have their own society with various clubs like literary club ,sports club etc

Placements are decent. Eligibility is typically at CGPA 6.0 or higher. Recruiters include TCS, Infosys ,Oracle, Wellsfargo etc.Highest package this year reached around 3 crores per annum as it was a foreign offer.

I choose ba as I needed a bachelors degree to pursue llb . All the faculty members are highly qualified and well educated and every teacher has their own teaching method. The exams are conducted annually for BA which is not very difficult

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs

The placement opportunities are given by institute. There is a placement committee. A few visited recruiters are ICICI,HDFC, DE Shaw, Deloitte, EY, etc. the average package of IIM sirmaur ranges around 14-15 LPA. All students get placed and is supported by institute.
