Likes
- Infrastructure , the food , the sports complex and gym and the pond for boating
- Faculties are the brightest mind in field of management m we have visiting faculties as well from IIM C, A , B and many others
Dislikes
- The atmosphere which is very very pretty but very humid at the same time
- Lack of transport is something I really dislike , because only very costly auto are available here.
Remarks :
We have to write CAT to get into any IIM, after CAT we got calls from IIMs based on sectional cutoffs of subject, after that the personal interview is done. I choose IIM Sambalpur because it was one of the best IIMs among the ones I converted ( I converted 3 baby IIMs) , because IIM is a brand , I was decided to do an MBA only from an IIM. and I really find my decision best for me
Course Curriculum Overview :
You are talking about the premier institutes of the country so everything is provided of the quality , as everyone said that 0.some percent of the cat giving population are given admission into the college and literally the experience is worth it. Faculties and course everything is systemized and real industry oriented
Internships Opportunities :
I am still in the process , we have summer internships here. for which I will be opting in march , this is a mandate for our third semester we have 2-3 months of summer internships. But we got a lot of opportunities for live project during our course. I did live projects and those were pretty good
Placement Experience :
Placements are good , but not as great as at old IIMs , because its a 10 year old IIM so it takes time to built that network in the corporate world. 100% placements are achieved we have separate committee for placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our college fees is paid into 3 parts in a year , because we have 3 semesters. The hostel , mess and stationary fee is already included in the fee also the first semester fee is high than the other semesters because the merchandise you receive in your first year are also included in it . Once shortlisted bank will contact you to provide you loan also a lot of scholarships are available for students.
Campus Life :
The campus is located at a very peaceful area in sambalpur near goshala, I bet you will see every color of sky in our campus , the social life is also good you will have great 2 years with your peers. sports , gym .cycling even boating in our own pond is something you will never miss here , But the night-out life is something you can't get here m because the area is rural so you don't have that charm of cities.
Hostel Facilities :
Living in a hostel is must at an IIM , because MBA is an on campus full time course , the hostels have every type of facilities you would like to have. food quality is good , three types of sabzi and daal is must here, the mess and hostel is fee is already included in your fee for the college.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

Placement Experience :
It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

Placement Experience :
The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
