- The faculty of the college are very friendly and the campus is clean.
- The buildings are well maintained and clean.
Dislikes
- Sometimes dtray dogs enter the campus and make it dirty.
- Sometimes sweepers are delayed in cleaning and maintaining the campus.
Remarks :
Everything is good. We get a good environment to study and explore new things. The college is spreaded in 340 acres with food courts, a beautiful lecture hall complex, labs and hostels. Everything is available inside the campus only.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is well revised as of 2023 and faculties are extremely talented. Students are talented as well as they get into the college by cracking one of the toughest exams, that is JEE. Everyone is friendly in this college.
Internships Opportunities :
I got internship at NHAI. Their is a good culture of internship at NIT Jamshedpur, especially for CSE branch. Students from different departments of the college undergo internships in their 8th semester.
Placement Experience :
No backlog is the eligibility criteria for students. Students need to clear all their semesters with atleast passing marks to be eligible for placements. Placement cell of the college is extremely good and tries to make life of each and every individual.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
General - 108000 Fee Remission 2/3 - 66666 Fee Remission full - 35000 Fee structure is divided by income as well as category. For ST/SC, full fee Remission is given regardless of income. For others, income certificate is seen.
Campus Life :
Everything is well maintained at NIT Jamshedpur. Different clubs from social and technical fields are continuously engaged in making college life of students full of enthusiasm. Placement cell of the college is superb as well.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel and mess are also extremely good. Sometimes the mess food is bad but it is edible. Students get single bedded room with attached balcony at their hostels and also toilets are clean and well maintained.

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.
Average University in Jamshedpur in low fee

You have to at least maintain 7CGA for sitting in placement season company like Wipro Infosys come here placement season. Average package of BBA is 4.5 lakhs. Almost 80% Student are placed through campus placement. My plan after getting degree pursuing MBA
My Dream College

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
