- College infra is very very good like they have the best infra among all HPTU college in himachal pradesh
- Festa here are frequent and good like they have fest every month and people enjoy here soo much
Dislikes
- The thing i dislike is hostel is available for first year students only after that we have to move to pg
- Faculty is indeed good here but they are very strixt since most of them are old professors
Remarks :
Yes i had a written test named as HPCET himachal pradesh common entrance test after that there was an offline round of counseling at HPTU hamirpur where they alloted us seat on the basis of merit they also accept jee score
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum which is being followed here is now NEP 2020 new education policy this got effective from 2022 only here faculties are highly educated everyone has phd from reputed iit’s or NIT’s and their academic record is excellent with govt test clearance rate of 7:10 in civil engineering branch
Internships Opportunities :
These colleges have a very good internship system as they have signed MOU with various IITs and NITs like iit mandi nit hamirpur nit jalandhar and oit roorkee students can go here and opt for any intership oppurtunoty that the students of that college are getting by showing their i card
Placement Experience :
Campus placement is not very good here in civil but there is a twist here every batch of civil engineering cracks assistant engineer exam with a very good selection rate last year out of 74 students 45 cracked SDO exam and 11 cracked JE exam and 2 students beacme Naib tehsildar so yea govt exam cracking rate is higher
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Per semester it’s 30,239 for tuition fess and if you want to avail mess and hostel facilities then hostel and mess charges are 40000 in total no extra charges and in the starting there is a one time fees of 3500 or confirmation of seat fees
Campus Life :
Campus life is not that much happening as this college is not near to the town its 4 kms away from town but the nearby place like dharamshala which is 30 mins away from college is a tourist attraction and there are so many treks nearby like the famous trek of triund and kareri lake so like yes nearby is a beautiful place but campus life is so so
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are alloted purely on the basis of merit of your hpcet exam or first come first serve basis if you have a good score in hpcet then there are chances you will get a two seater spacious room and otherwise there are 3 seater rooms which are also spacious with a view of Dhauladhar range

Placements are decent. Eligibility is typically at CGPA 6.0 or higher. Recruiters include TCS, Infosys ,Oracle, Wellsfargo etc.Highest package this year reached around 3 crores per annum as it was a foreign offer.

I choose ba as I needed a bachelors degree to pursue llb . All the faculty members are highly qualified and well educated and every teacher has their own teaching method. The exams are conducted annually for BA which is not very difficult

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs
