Remarks :
I believe the faculty is undoubtedly the main factor for choosing this college they are well qualified and majority of them have phd degree from renowned institutions like delhi school of economics. They are the best at what they do. I got the admission through Cuet score
Course Curriculum Overview :
Talking about The course , it doesn't make you industry ready even though the faculty tries it's best to teach theory but theory itself can't pave your way to a good career. Students needs to have a add-on course like cfa Or do an internship in order to be job ready.
Internships Opportunities :
I have opted for internship off campus I have cracked internships at companies such as Tata1mg, Delhivery and many more. So internships are not a concern do remember you are studying at the top university of the country .cracking opportunities will be easier for you
Placement Experience :
Placement and internship cell is present in the college they try their best to bring opportunities for the students. Companies like Paytm, Planetspark, Sony etc. visit the campus to provide opportunities but there aren't much placement opportunities in the college. One can find an off campus opportunity on their own alumni might help.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total course fees is around 30,000 including all the charges like examination fees , the college doesn't provide scholarship but university does provide scholarship for its student so one can apply and claim that
Campus Life :
Campus is quite small but the college provides all the basic necessities like lawn, library, seminars halls, computer labs. The college is located in malviya nagar which enables you to explore beautiful places nearby the college. Select city mall and hauz khaus is located near the college. The college have so many societies which one can be a part of like enactus, commercia (commerce society) , placement cell, ecoshashtra (economics cell) etc.
Hostel Facilities :
The college doesn't provide a hostle but you will easily find a pg near the college. Seniors are very helpful at the college they helps freshers to find the pg. The pg you might get will be of sharing capacity. The rent per head ranges from 6000-12000

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
