Likes
- The college performance among the other colleges of the university is very satisfying
- The college’s faculty as I have said earlier is very good .
Dislikes
- The admin office is very frustrating as any student work take huge amount of time
- The college campus is very confined and congested and become very tense with various groups when any conflict happen.
Remarks :
The college I have chosen is one of the best college of whole university for my selected course. The only entrance I have given was Cuet and cut off was differed according to courses. The entrance was based on class 12 books.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chosen this course because this was well alike with the career I want to choose. The faculty is well qualified as most of the professors are doctorate and phd holders and their teaching is very understandable. The exams held in 2 semesters with 5 month of each duration. The college fees is 7k and annual fee hike is 500-600 rs. Many state scholarships can be availed .
Internships Opportunities :
I have applied for the vice chancellor internship scheme which is part and summer and winter paid internship. There are various college internship of societies available which mostly not paid but give you social experience
Placement Experience :
The placement is not easily available to all. The recruiters came with diverse range but recruitment mostly done Od technical students. About 10-20 percentage can be estimated for getting placement’.
Campus Life :
The campus is very small but the societies of the college are very energetic and updated . The fest which took place annually in my college is called Malhar held in march or April . The sport facilities are good enough. The hostel facility is not available in the college

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
