Things at DELHI UNIVERSITY
Likes
- The college doesn't have any 75% attendance policy, so students can actually enjoy and explore.
- Teachers and professors are understanding and cooperative.
Dislikes
- The college is quite small and needs some infrastructure development.
- The classrooms aren't well maintained, they're more like govt school classrooms.
Remarks :
For admin I gave CUET UG examination and got my call letter,I had call letters from various other universities as well but since this one was part of the Delhi University I wanted to join it. Apart from the CUET exam ,there was no other group discussion or any interview at all.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My course was BA and it was well structured, the syllabus covered almost everything that was required. Professors were good as well, cooperative and understanding, not all but most of them were good and use to maintain a healthy conversation with the students.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted for any but my friends have done it , and from their point of view ,it was just okay but very hectic. One has to become very concentrated on whatever work assigned or job given to do so.
Placement Experience :
The college doesn't provide any placement or job but has some societies that helps the students to get internships and part time jobs, through which one can plan accordingly. For me I will continue my studies and opt for masters.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fees is around 6000 for BA students, although it has neither increased nor decreased as of now. There is no extra fees apart from this but just examination fees that is to be filled every semester and it costs around ?1200-?2000 depending on the course.
Campus Life :
Life at college was awesome, since there was no problem about attendence, students could explore the outside world, enjoy, learn, attend events. At college regular fests and events were organized to keep up the morale.
Hostel Facilities :
The college doesn't provide any hostel, so one has to either rent a flat or an apartment or stay at a pg for the duration of their course and it's not a hard thing to do, rooms and flats are available every time.

Distance learning along with fun.
Placement Experience :
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.

DU Experience Packed with Learning, Practical Skills, and Dedicated Student Portfolio
Placement Experience :
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Gargi Colleg , Delhi university
Placement Experience :
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
