- I like the environment in which our college is located, it has facility from xerox shop to juice, from rickshaw to nearest metro station.
- The diversity in the college like students come from different cultures and states.
Dislikes
- Sometimes the college Wi-fi doesn't work properly
- the non-functioning of clock of clock tower
Remarks :
I targeted for this college from very begining and never thought about other colleges or university ever and also I worked hard for this college and my hardwork became fruitful and I got admission in this college in the first round of allotment. As we know most of the colleges take admissions based on the CUET score which is a entrance test and I also got admission based on my CUET score. In this course you just have to appear in core subjects of Commerce stream that is Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics and one language. As it is Asia's No. 1 commerce college, it also sets a high cutoffs such as above 750/800 for reserved category and 780/800 or above for unreserved category.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As we humans go with best always, so i did the same as it is a Asia's no. 1 obviously one should go with the best also SRCC have a brand value and good placements compared to other colleges and these reasons are enough to choose a college for me. SRCC have enough number of faculty for our subjects according to the strength of our college. Even I like all professors who teach me and everyone is just best in their fields. Also the exams of my course is not that tough even if you start studying one month before exams you can get average CGPA which happen twice in a year or semester wise and semesters are of 4 months.
Internships Opportunities :
I registered myself for campus internship opportunity with our placement cell and many companies also visited our college like Bain, KPMG, etc. for different roles related to finance and consulting domain with decent stipend like 70 k or 80k.
Placement Experience :
Our college also provide many internship and placement opportunities in big companies like Bain, Accenture, HUL, etc. with decent amount of package. It also provide opportunities for different roles which helps us to explore different fields like accounting, consulting, marketing, hr, etc. As soon the third yeaar starts the companies start visiting with offers for campus recruitments in our college. According to 2024 data, more than 500 offers were made by companies to the students with highest package of 36 LPA and average of 8 LPA and about 50% - 70% students got placed. I am also preparing for campus placements and In case I didn't get placed I will try to get placed through off campus.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the fee structure of our college is very nominal that is 31000 per year and for entire course it is 93000 excluding examination fee or hostel fee. DU charges examination fee every semester which will be below 2000 depending on the particular course that our college offers and also in these fee category concessions also provided. Our college also provide many financial assistance to needy students through different scholorships and directly as well.
Campus Life :
Our college organizes different events over the years and also the clubs of our college is very active. The annual event pf our college is Crossroads which includes many cultural events. Our college library has 2 floors which are filled with many books and most of the books required are available. Our classrooms are also packed with necessary facilities like ACs, projector, fans podium, and also comfortable desks. Our college also have a big playground where we can play different sports and equipment are provided by college itself.
Hostel Facilities :
Our college hostel is also very in matter of infra and food even its food is better than some of known PGs but if we compare with rent of pg or flat it doesn't show much difference in rent. The registeration process for hostel is very simple in the begining of the session you have o fill form and on the basis of merit rooms are alloted and for hostels cutoffs are more higher than course and college. Also the locality or environment around college is very good neither so much crowded nor monotonous.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
