Likes
- CGC have a great infrastructure and campus life is peaceful there.
- I always like events in CGC like coding events or online games.
Dislikes
- I always thought classrooms could have been more comfortable.
- Lab faculty assistants were not so educated as they had problems answering some questions.
Remarks :
Placement record was impeccable of CGC and it Still is, Admission process are like you can apply directly and get admission on your 12th result as you need min. 75% or you can apply through counselling.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I always wanted to study CSE, and the facilty was qualified as most of my professors were Phd holders. CGC take three term exams per semester and difficulty level was moderate and basis on these term exams internal scoring was given.
Internships Opportunities :
No i did not opted for any internship, as in which company I got placed they hired me as full time from day one, but few of my friends did internships and according to them internship is very good learning experience.
Placement Experience :
CGC has great placement record during my placement period most of students got placed only students with backlog had encountered some issue but they also got placed. Highest package offer was 42 lakh by amazon in 2021. Placement percentage is about 95%.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee structure was adequate for a middle class family , 86000 was my tuition fee and during admission you have to pay 10000 as registration fee and there is no such as lab fee but examination fee was 700 per semester.
Campus Life :
CGC have an famous event named Parivartan which usually conducted around October. All libraries had proper availability of books and journals. Classrooms has enough space but non ac rooms and benches were not so comfortable. CGC have almost ground for every sport like cricket, football and basketball and indoor sports. Almost every social groups run by students under supervision of management, some famous groups are Umang, k12.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.

Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
