IP UNIVERSTY COLLEGE Requirements are to score around 1000-2000 rank in IPUCET EXAM Good aspects- -Teaching methodologies are much better than other college -The lecture rooms, labs are well equipped Cafeteria is good -University and college has an average social life and events Bad Aspects: -Small infrastructure -Has another college in the same premises -nothing other than that as such
Course Curriculum Overview :
IPU has a very well knowledge full and detailed syllabus in every field. The course curriculum is not very over cluttered just right amount of knowledge is in the curriculum. The teached methodologies are great in the college with well equipped lecture rooms and labs with an average library area too. Faculty is good too.
Internships Opportunities :
No. But companies like Vipro and Infosys come to the campus. The third year of the college is dedicated to the placement. The placement cell takes care of the training and knowledge about the internship

Average placement by college. Internware club for internships and sponsorship for internship events. Placement training and knowledge events take place in the third year. Placement cell provides students with useful skills and knowledge
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
1,20,000 approx per year so makes it 3,60,000 for the entire degree. Minimal fees to apply in college through university after giving the entrance exam- IPUCET. You can also go and visit the college prior to the admission and talk to the HOD of your course
Campus Life :
Starts with freshers that takes place usually in a 4 star hotel in September or October In February and March all the college and university concert events take place. There's Dandiya and Diwali fests too. There are many inter college competitions (debate, talent based) Talent hunts are conducted too There are many other competitions that take place related to coding and management. In October- November there is MUN also that takes place. The Internware Club for internships and many other for bhangra and Music societies organises various other events
Hostel Facilities :
No hostel. The canteen food quality and menu are good with both healthy and fast food options. There are many pg and rooms available in janakpuri near the college in Sagarpur. Metro connectivity is okay

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
