- The centre of attraction of the whole College is the rajwada (palace)
- Faculties are students friendly and helpful in nature
Dislikes
- Canteen and mess facilities are available but food quality is not that good
- It's not allowed to roam in campus during the timing of lecs
Remarks :
There is no round of GD/PI for taking admission in dkte.the criteria for admission is only having minimum 50% percent marks in 12 th and non zero score in entrance exams like JEE and MHT CET. The college is having good facilities of library laboratories and well equipped pilot plants
Course Curriculum Overview :
Teacher are very helpful and student friendly and well qualified,all the faculties are having both industrial experience as well as teaching experience The course curriculum is very much relevant as it makes the student industry ready by giving intership twice students can experience the actual industry where they are going to work further
Internships Opportunities :
Every student of textile department needs to go to internship during his/her 3 rd year and final year I have also gone on internship in companies like Ocm India Pvt limited which is situated in Amritsar Punjab and pratibha Syntex which is situated in Indore Madhya Pradesh
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for place is 60 percent marks in 10th 12th or diploma and pointer of 6.5 minimum with no backlogs in degree The highest package of textile course is 18 Lakhs per annum and lowest package is of 3.5 lakhs per annum The most common recruiters in dkte are Trident, Arvind Ltd, Epic group, Reliance retail, Reliance vimal, Alok industries, himatsingka, Shahi exports, Lagoona, clothing,Reliance industries, Dyestar,etc
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees for 1 st year is 1,20,000 for students with no scholarship and for EBC EWS and obc the fees is 68000 for sc/st fee is 8279 and for sbc fee is 22500 There are various scholarships available for students living in local hostel which is given by government of India
Campus Life :
Campus life is not that great when we compare it to the other colleges from Mumbai or Pune Dkte is organising annual social every year which is the only grand event of college and other than that it just organised dandiya nights and nothing else Various sports games teams are there in dkte so students can take part in them for inter college matches and other sports events
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is only available for girls which is located inside the campus and timing of hostel is very strictly observed There is no specific option for boys hostel in dkte but there many facilities like rental flats and pgs and private hostel are available in ichalkaranji Basic local hostel or pg rent in ichalkaranji is 1500 rupees

An industry focused learning experience
Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Average college provide average facilities

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.

The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
