Very good placements, median package of 9 to 11 lakhs, holds a record of 100% placement every one year. Best known for its placement team. The cut off every year is really high, as it is the second best colleges for engineering in Maharashtra around 98 to 99 percentile.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Data science is a new field, first college to introduce this field in Mumbai, very professional yet helpful teacher, with precise and important syllabus. The teaching method is very good with theory lectures and lab experiments.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I will be joining my internship in few days, I got a data scientist intern role with 25k stipend. You are also given a major project at the end of the 3rd year which gets published with a research paper. It also helps a lot in internship and placement.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement - 60% JPMC, Idfy, Barclays, Baker Hughes, etc They generally take upto 7 to 8 students per company College holds record of 100% placement, so if you're decent enough you'll get a job from college itself.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Open category - 1 lakh 72 thousand per year OBC - 75000 per year SC/ST - around or less than 30000 approximately, you can get the detailed information about the fee structure from the college as it changes a little bit every year
Campus Life :
SPIT is a cultural hub for the students who are interested in non academic sectors like sports, music, drama etc, they have comittees for each thing, you can participate in the committee and even become the members.
Hostel Facilities :
Unfortunately the college has no hostel, but you'll get added to accomodation group from college students where you can find shared flats with the college mates the rent near the college goes upto 5k to 7k. College also has 3 message and 1 canteen, so you have lot of options to eat.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.

The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
