I have CUET exam and score 728 in general category and automatically got this college allocated. Tbh this college is very far from my home and If I leave that problem aside , this college is actually good. This college has one of the best infrastructure in the whole DU , it's infrastructure can even beat most of the north campus colleges. The main setback for this college is it's location and it's small ground. To be honest if you live near Dwarka then after north campus colleges, you should definitely consider deen dayal upadhyay because it's canteen and infrastructure and tbh it's hostel is expensive but it's very good in terms of facilities and food as one of my friends live in their.
B.com (hons.) is a great course to study as it can give you great opportunities in life. It's a very easy course as compared to courses like economic hons. and maths hons. which no doubt are very good courses but they are very hard to study and you have to give your major time to those courses which is not the case with b.com (hons.) as it is an easy course to study which helps you to study another course in delhi University or you can even study a professional course which will definitely change your life and can give you a very good future.
The internship i did was not through the college but the placement cell of our college provides alot of opportunities and information about many internships not only for the members of the cell but for every student of the college. It helps you to do the internships and get an experience which will help you in the future.
As I am a fresher , I also don't know much about the placements of the college but I know the average placement of the college is around 4-5 lakhs and if you have skills that make you stand out, then I think you'll surely get the placement. You should always do some course or skills side by side with your course as it makes your CV look good and even if you didn't get placement in the college ,your skill can give you major opportunities outside the college too.
It's my first year so I know that totally I paid ?31,550. I don't know the ratio of college fees and registration fees. And about scholarship, if you have EWS form you can easily get a scholarship and if your 12th score was more than 80% and you manage to get more than 75% of the attendance in the college, then you can get scholarship too. And I don't know the exact amount but I have heard that you can get around 10 thousand rupees off in your fees and maybe you are from economically weaker section of the society, you can get more off in your fees.
First of all let's discuss about the social life, i think it's Totally depend on the batch of yours and the seniors of the college at your specific year. If I talk about mine ,the crowd here is very good and supportive which ensures a good social life. The clubs and societies are also good as they can give you great opportunities in life (and can also enhance your linkedin profile :) )The website of the college isn't too good as it lags alot of time but the library is very good as it contains most of the books a decent student would need and is air conditioned just like the whole college. The fest of our college is "kalrav". And tbh I don't think so they invited such major celebrities in the past but let's hope they do in the upcoming future. Talking about the classroom ,every classroom in the college is air conditioned and we'll maintained which is actually very useful in summers. Our college have most of the sports but as our ground is not so big,it's difficult to play in the college.
As one of friends is living in hostel and it's quite an expensive fees to pay as everyone cannot afford it but the services it give is very much appreciable as their rooms are good to live and according to my friend, they have a very good mess and a very vide variety of many for a vegetarian as well as a non - vegetarian student. The taste of the food is also very good. The registration process is basically you have to register in the hostel and they release lists of students to whom hostel is alloted. Also the student must live more than 99km away from the college.

But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
