It was the one the colleges which I was able to grabe through my MHT-CET percentile, also it is a Government institute so I thought it will be better than avg private colleges. And also it was suggested by my some relatives too.
As mentioned above I choosed course based on what I was getting best upon my marks .The course Their is designed properly to understand basics of the subject bit of classic education good for foundation for exams like GATE and etc, Teachers are well qualified too ,most permanent faculties have a good teaching experience and knowledge about their respective subjects. Exams are conducted on time and properly carried
I haven't opted for one yet, generally companies don't come to pick interns in our college, but let's hope they do in coming years But nearby there are many Factories and company where we can easily get one intership it's very easy to grabe one but not necessarily the one you want.
Placements are avg ,if you fit in the criteria for placements and have some good skills then it's easy to grabe a placement of 4lpa avg and depending upon your skills it may increase, but if you follow things pretty good then you will be placed.
For General category students it is 80k per year and for OBC students it is around 45k per year ,and similar for other casts which have cutoffs similar to OBC and rest is paid through scholarship. For Sc/ST it's so minimal it's about 2k-3k.
Campus is not so impressive honesty, one who have limited money and wants to get good quality education is best for that students also the city is not very expensive it's good for such people. Infrastructure wise it is not so awesome it's basic,it has a library which is descent,a reading hall , mess , canteen,a small gym ,ground to play cricket football ( single big one ) and a voyeball ground ,hostels. We have two major clubs which are Drone club and Asterisk club ( car related) Both of them are really active Sports happens in every sem and in one sem it's happening unofficial and in one officially, good environment in terms of sports. Events are happening every now and then but biggest is the Caravan event which happens in the month of Feb or March .
No I haven't applied for hostel yet I stay with my relatives,to apply for hostel it's really easy when the forms are released we have to fill them and based upon merit one is selected but it has limited capacity and in one room 2 people stay ,mess is also available inside campus and for that there is no need to fill any kind of application or form Hostel is cheap it costs about 8k a year I guess, but it's not so lavish it's basic but also not very bad.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
