Remarks :
There are many factors due to which I have chosen Bhilai Institute Of Technology durg to pursue my higher education after completing my twetlth . As this college is very prestigious and gained a lot of fame due to its highly producing jobs and creating highly skilled engineers in nowadays . So even if any student come from other states that Chhattisgarh he or she will never face any type of ragging or difficulties in this college . This college has coding environment as I have taken bachelor of technology in computer science and specially data science so this college is very good if one wants to pursue his or her career in coding background . To take admission in this college I have given Chattisgarh pre engineering test in which I have secured 19 rank other options to get admission can be either from jee or from any quota .
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course and curriculum set up by Bhilai institute of technology Durg is very nice as it doesn't only focus on theory aspects but also focuses on deep learning and practical knowledge as it is what that ultimately person need or have to apply in his or her day to day life . The faculty is also very good . As they are very knowledgeable and they provide deep knowledge rather than focusing on completing the course . The faculty is highly educated as all the teachers are either phd or have high educational qualifications . In every semester the college conducts two class test and one end semester examination . First class test will be of 40 marks while the other class test will be of 60 marks and end semester examination will be of 100 marks . There are also practical examination and internal assignment and teachers associate marks are also there.
Internships Opportunities :
Since I am in first semester I recently have not opted for any internships . But my seniors have opted for internship in tcs jio airtel like big companies so there is higher probability of getting jobs and internships in this college
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship opportunities in Bhilai Institute Of Technology durg Chhattisgarh is very nice. As students are trained especially for this in training and placement cell . The highest package is about 12-15LPA while average package is about 7-8LPA . The few recruiter which come on regular basis are Tcs jio and airtel and many more .large amount of students are placed in tcs company about 80 to 90 percent of students are placed .my plans after taking my degree is to either get a high paid job or pursue my higher education like doing masters in technology or masters in business administration as it will be great exposure doing masters and great knowledge will also is what I wanted to get deep knowledge .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college Bhilai institute of technology Durg is very affordable in terms of college fees as it is 80k per year approx . In first semester we have to pay 40k while in other that is second semester we have to pay another 40k . In this fees the maintenance fees , training and placement fees , library fees and all other caution fees as well are already included here . So in comparison to big colleges in other cities kr in other states this college provides same level of education and exposure so there is no need to pay lum sum amount of fees in big colleges of all things all equal except fees structure So if one has less budget for higher education of their children and one doesn't want to compromise with their children higher studies so they can consider Bhilai institute of technology Durg Chhattisgarh assembly a preference as this college is very prestigious and renowned college among various other colleges existing in Chattisgarh nowadays
Campus Life :
The campus life in Bhilai Institute Of Technology durg Chhattisgarh is very nice .there is no type of ragging done by seniors as it is prohibited . Ojas is one of the most magnificent fest conducted by bit durg recently smart india hackathon is conducted and colleges from pan India came up with their teams and innovative ideas competing in bit durg as bit durg is nodal centre . Also the library consists of large number of books and there is never a problem of no book of particular subject in library . There are also many clubs like vistara club which can be joined by students in second year they provide exposure and by this club one can learn skills which can be an edge above others to get placed in renowned companies like Tcs , jio , airtel and others . As all this companies come to bit durg to take some amount of Engineers in their company .

Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
